One of the things I hate about like the misogyny in the hip hop industry is how many people won’t give music by female artists a serious listen unless there’s a man on the track and so we end up having to suffer through shitty half assed verses by men on tracks that were already bops to begin with and I am tired of it!

Now that I’m a full blown adult, I can really see how dumb kids/teens are. Maybe dumb isn’t the right word. Uninformed is more fitting. Between their brains still growing and developing and not having yet experienced life outside of what they know, I don’t hold a lot of things against them.
I have to remind myself fo this all the time as a teacher. It’s like, “oh right. This is you processing.”
